Valentine's Day Fun

Happy Late Valentine's Day to all of you. We had a good time this year. We were involved in our ward's Friendship Week and did secret Valentine's for a family and another family had us. We had a good time doing it. I especially had a good time watching Giff run to the door, ring the doorbell, and run back to the car. Unfortunately neither one of us fell in our attempts at running to and from the car. On Valentine's Day, Jaden decorated his first sugar cookie and just had a ball. His favorite part was shaking the sprinkle container to get the sprinkles on the cookies. Obviously most of them didn't actually make it onto the cookie, but he had a great time trying. I took a few pictures of him with the cookies, but then I remembered that our cord to hook up the camera to our computer is packed away somewhere. Oops!

Anyway, life is going good. We are continually trying to look for homes, I'm looking for a part time job, and Giff is getting adjusted to being an RN. He had the wonderful opportunity to insert a "folly" catheter (i don't know how to spell that) in a 72 year-old woman the other night and needless to say, it wasn't his favorite moment of all time. Giff's been having a good time at the hospital overall though. He's made quite a few friends and has had a few missionary experiences already. He quickly realized that he sticks out like a sore thumb when he's the only one not downin' all the coffee and having margaritas with his co-workers during their lunch hour. It's been kind of funny.

Jaden is doing great in nursery and has gone three weeks now for the entire time. It has been nice for him to be in nursery. We actually get something out of church now. This last week when we came to get him, he was asleep on one of the nursery leaders. It was funny because he nevers sleeps anywhere, but his bed or his carseat. Apparently, nursery is workin' out just fine. Well, enough blabbing, we love y'all and miss you and can't wait for the next time we can visit.

Love,
Giff, Amanda, and Jaden

I am glad life is treating you all well. I am also glad Jaden likes nursery. It is so nice when they are old enough to attend. Luke loves it so much that he runs away from me yelling, "No no no," when I come to pick him up.
